The JWAS FamilyWhile the JWAS Foundation provides financial assistance to children from preschool through college, being a part of the JWAS family means much more! Once a child becomes a Jaxson Scholar, their family immediately becomes part of our JWAS family, which means regular check-ins, love, and support year-round.
Jaxson Scholars are encouraged not only to achieve their academic goals but also to develop good moral character and life skills that will serve them into the future. Through customized character and leadership development programming, JWAS families interact and build relationships amongst themselves as they learn and grow together! As we provide experiences to cultivate self-confidence, we encourage all of our Jaxson Scholars and their families to give back through service and become forces of good in our community. |
We are thankful for everyone involved with the foundation, including donors who help keep these children’s dreams alive. It is a true gesture of love. We love every opportunity as a family to learn something new through JWAS, such as etiquette classes, financial classes, becoming closer to our family with special tools given to us through retreats, etc. There is so much to say that we love about JWAS, but there are not enough words. Our family is very grateful! Olga, Parent of Jaxson Scholars, Aline & Alani

Trilogy of care
As we continue to enrich and expand the lives of those we serve, we are delighted to share our Trilogy of Care approach for our leadership programs. The three hearts represent caring for the Jaxson Scholar, caring for the JWAS parent, and caring for the JWAS family. Through this approach we are able to attend to the hearts, minds, and spirits of all members of our JWAS families, allowing us to lift the entire family unit and help each of them become the best version of themselves. Our Trilogy of Care allows our families to reach their full potential, allowing each Jaxson Scholar to dream bigger and aim higher.
