Jeanie Shuck has served as the JWAS Executive Director since 2019. She earned her Bachelor of Science at Indiana University and her Master of Education from Plymouth State University. Her experience in programmatic strategy, development, and implementation and community relations enhances our community partnerships, fundraising goals, and marketing efforts. Jeanie passionately believes in the JWAS mission and Jaxson’s legacy of generosity and care. Jeanie is a mother to four incredible young adults and lives in Niles, MI with her husband, Jeff.

Mary pickens corsonesDirector of Leadership Programming & Family Relations
Mary earned her Bachelor of Arts at Michigan State University and her Master of Education from the University of Notre Dame. Mary brings experience in education, admissions, event planning, and administration. As a previous 5th grade classroom teacher, Mary is committed to sharing educational opportunities, fostering leadership, and building community within the JWAS Family. Mary lives in Mishawaka with her husband, Brendan, and sons, Theodore and Thomas.

A South Bend native, Chloe Hensley earned her Bachelor of Arts from Manchester University. Chloe brings experience in administration, customer service, youth programming, and education, and is excited to share JWAS’ mission with the community. In her free time, Chloe enjoys traveling, staying active, and spending time with friends and family. She lives in South Bend with her partner, Dan, and their four adored pets.

Sarah earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Education degrees from the University of Notre Dame. With a background in teaching 3rd through 5th grades and working at the ACE program at Notre Dame, she’s passionate about fostering leadership and supporting the growth of the JWAS community. Originally from Indianapolis, Sarah loves cheering on Indiana sports teams, spending time outside, baking cookies, and hanging out with her family and friends.
